This print is darker and more striking than some, in a range of soft neutrals including a touch of dark purple and teal. Monoprinted linen on a heavily manipulated printing plate, with appliqued layers of lace and organza, Czech glass beads, a range of embroidered stitches and vintage sequins. Heavy acrylic paper border, printed to match the fabric and used to frame the textile with torn edges for texture.
The picture is framed, and signed on the reverse along with the following scripture:
" The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail." Is 58:11
Framed in a standard 45cm square white shadow box frame. The piece is mounted on a 39.75cm square mounting board, and designed for a 27.75cm square aperture.
