A5 Christian Journal, Medium Green
Hand made mixed media A5 Journal by I Am Prayerful, in a range of colours including green, iridescent chartreuse green, with touches of blue, ivory, yellow and gold. This sophisticated colour scheme looks great with darker marks and writing.
We have made just a few Journals in this colourway. The basic contents are identical, and each hand-printed element is unique. The images above are representative of the overall colour scheme.
Our A5 Journals are made from a range of papers from tracing paper to card, including black, kraft and recycled poetry book pages. The A5 Journal has over 40 A5 pages (with at least 80 sides) plus A6 cards, tags, glassine envelopes and self-adhesive stickers. Our journals are a real labour of love, each page handled over 5 times for printing, drying, sorting, trimming and binding.
Some of the pages are printed with old maps, images, poetry excerpts and thoughtful prompt words. Most of the pages are also hand-printed with paint using a mono-printing plate, for a richer and more beautiful journalling experience. All pages and paint have a matt texture so that every surface is suitable for note-taking, doodling and sketching using a range of pens such as Sharpies, felt tips, Gelly Roll pens, pencils, etc. Think of the pages as a decorative background for your own content, to be covered in notes and returned to, time and again.
Our A5 Journal measures 21.25cm x 15.5cm and comes with a 400gsm black card cover. The front cover is mono-printed, and the back cover bears a gold I Am Prayerful stamp. The Journal is supplied with a 6mm dual-sided satin ribbon that can be tied in a bow to secure the pages.

Using your Journal
This Journal has been made with matt paper and paint, so that you can use a wide variety of pens and pencils on the pages. Most pens and pencils will write on our Journal pages, and we recommend the white Uniball Signo Gel Pen for writing on the black or kraft paper pages, which we supply on our web site. Acrylic paint pens, widely available online, are an excellent choice for opaque drawing and sketching on our printed pages.
If the Journal spine becomes stiff, rotate the black coil binding towards the back of the Journal, to loosen it up. Thank you.
